The Hospice Manager is an integral leadership position providing oversight of the interdisciplinary hospice team with a focus on providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate is one who is highly motivated, passionate and committed to the philosophy of hospice.
Overseeing the delivery of hospice services provided by an interdisciplinary team to patients and their families.
Providing direction, mentoring and staff development.
Participating in program development and changes.
Monitoring agency compliance with state health department/federal government standards and regulations.
Participating in hiring, orientation and performance management of the patient care team.
Planning and implementing specific clinical and administrative projects, coordinating them with overall agency plans.
Overseeing the maintenance of hospice medical records assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with licensing regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
A high level of clinical knowledge in hospice care practice, programs and policies.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
A positive and compassionate attitude.
BSN degree and current RN licensure in Massachusetts.
2 – 5 years of progressive management experience.
