The Home Care Aide Council will honor the more than 60,000 homecare aides who are working in homes across the Commonwealth to meet the needs of vulnerable older adults during the Coronavirus pandemic – on Wednesday, October 21.
On this day, we will recognize and honor all of the Commonwealth’s home care aides who have stepped up during the COVID-19 crisis and continued providing essential services to keep elders and persons with disabilities healthy and safe at home in their community.
In addition, we will honor more than two dozen home care aides nominated by our member agencies for special recognition. These home care workers have gone above and beyond during the pandemic, providing high-quality services with care and compassion despite the risks and barriers presented by the Coronavirus.
